You have a 32 Bit os right? So you can only use 4 gb of RAM! Is this information right or does this just effect windows?

@motabbirh The iMac only has 2 RAM Module slots, unless your iMac is a 27" model.

Why didn't you keep the 2 OEM 2GB's so you had 12GB of RAM instead of 8?
