Ashland Technologies PCN Tours Part 4

Part 4 of a tour of Ashland Technologies Machine Shop located at 218 Dell Rd. Hegins in Schuylkill County, PA. The fourth part starts off with Bill Wydra Jr., President of Ashland Technologies giving the viewer a look at the CNC Punch machine in action followed by some example pieces that showcase the custom ability of the machine. From there, Bill gives you a look at a finished Tape Sealer that some of the parts you have been seeing are used to create. The next step of the tour takes the viewer into a welding cell at the Ash Tec facility where the basketball game featured in part 1 is being built and moves into showing a much larger version of the game called Nothin' But Net. From there, the tour moves into another welding cell that is used for welding roller coaster chassis. The next step of the tour takes you to the rolling operation that is the work cell for the human gyroscope featured in part 1 of the tour.
