@hadabenz Two questions on the IL 62: 1/ What instruments are there on the navigator's panel that there aren't on the pilots'? 2/ Is the navigator a career long navigator, or is he a man building his hours to become a pilot? Can anyone answer me these 2 questions, please!

I noticed that the checklist for the IL 62 was printed in English and the crew gave their checks in English...was that just for the video or is it always that way in Cubana?

That is just fantastic. Not too often do you get a stem to stern in & out overview of a classic "whistler" Ilyushin IL-62M That cockpit layount with the turquoise blue scheme reminds me a little of a 1950's/1960's Powerwagon dashboard

this is pure aviation. because you don't see a NAVIGATOR anymore!! I'd love to fly a Cubana IL-62 or an Air Koryo IL-62...
As an American, to see a part of Cuba in this manner was just amazing. Thank you, Just Planes!
