US carrier Sprint was able to snag both the HTC Hero and the Samsung Moment--Android phones. Here's how the displays compared--the Moment has a brighter AMOLED display whereas the Hero is more glamorous with the HTC Sense UI

  • i recently cracked the screen for my moment. do you know how much money that would be to fix it?

  • @itsMrMustache Unfortunately, I don't know. Perhaps you can search on eBay for a replacement screen and a guide to do it yourself if you're comfortable with a DIY project of that nature.

  • can you get a facebook app for the moment?

  • @chizzleman2 Yes. It is on Android Market for free, which is the app store for Android on the phone.

  • So which phone is better? Moment or Hero! I think moment but reply back with what you think xD

  • @chickwithbrains719 Have you also checked out the Sprint HTC EVO 4G? There's also a rumored Samsung Galaxy S Pro for Sprint, though when and if it gets released may get iffy, but that one is a higher-spec'ed version of the Moment in my opinion if it gets released.

  • @yarrboots sprint is better because it is in par with verizon and u know how good verizon is but there to expensive so go with the 69.99 everything plan and get a good phone u wont go wrong with sprint

  • I know peeps who swear by Apple products, but in the end, any MP3 player will play music hahaha. Apps schmaps!! Overrated, overhyped.

My mp3 player is cheap and hasn't broken... I don't need iTunes to transfer music (drag/drop baby!!). I can have all the songs/video I need on a card and best part is, this player will never get stolen! :D

  • The worst part is that I own both and each one blows and much as any phone, blackberry pearl is better than both of those piece of shits, or a house phone is more reliable

  • moment sucks, i had to take it in to the store for hardware resets, and ive done it like 5 times in less than a yr, and i hate the new 10 dollar fees when you buy a new smart phone, so my dealer told me either i can get the blackberry tour from 2009 or htc hero, for no 10 dollar fees

  • @dezziefbby lmao my brother had the hero, and i promise you..its worse.

  • Which phone is better? Moment or Hero.

  • I've had the moment 5 times for not even a year yet and it's horrible. I'm going to the HTC hero now. I'm 18 and a full keyboard and all that is not really too important to me anymore. I'm in college now and I just need something reliable. The Moment was VERY unreliable, slow, glitchy and everything else. Hopefully the Hero pleases me.

  • moment is way better

  • I have the samsung moment and I think it a great phone I think it has some battery problems and they could definatly extend the life but along with the huge touch screen and keyboard it has a touch pad like the blackberry 8520 and has touch pad. Just like touch screen touch pad is flat and works just by tapping it very cool I like it alot

  • I'm getting that phone this week

  • @chickwithbrains719 moment screen is bigger, but i would have to say moment

  • i got a clean Moment that was used for 2 months on eBay a few weeks back for $150. I am a texter so it is great for that in the ability to use the QWERTY keyboard or the screen input. The relative clarity on the camera and video with flash capability on the Moment alone is worth $150 to me.
