  • @JesusInNike23 I'm sorry but any point you were trying to make was instantly screwed up the moment you insulted me, all because I said I didn't like something quite as much as you obviously do. Maybe once you get out of the habit of thinking in the ways of retarded logic such as opinions equalling fact, I might actually be able to take you seriously but until then, you're just sounding like another TDK fanboy.

  • @JesusInNike23 What critiques? I did not give a review of the movie pin pointing the failings of the movie, did I? Where in my OPINION was I saying my OPINION was better and more correct than anyone else's OPINION? Proven wrong? I could give a proper critique of the movie but it would just result in you defending it again because you can't take another's opinion. It doesn't matter how many times you try to "prove" how one movie is better than another, you are not going to change someone's mind.

  • @KilroyLEGEND Great explanation!!!

  • cool..

  • A hero is defined by the villains and obstacles he faces. Nolan's Batman has faced the greatest challenges from a hero on screen, BY FAR. Reigning in his own monster (BEGINS), ethical / moral dilemmas (TDK), and physical punishment / self doubt (TDK Rises)

  • Ledger's Joker, and Hardy's Bane are quickly shaping up to being easily the most intimidating, frightening and overall best on screen comic book villains we have ever gotten a chance to witness. From the way they are written, to the nuanced acting. Definitive villains. While BEGINS had "bad guys" in it, the story was more about Batman ... and Batman himself was basically the monster of that film, the way the Joker is the monster of TDK, and Bane is the monster of TDK Rises.

  • TDK Rises has been talked about by the production staff, namely the producer Charles Roven. They said the crew was split down the middle which film they preferred more between BEGINS and TDK. Johnathan Nolan, Chris Nolan, and David Goyer for TDK Rises apparently bring the trilogy full circle back to a character study of Bruce Wayne ala BEGINS, but has more of the tone, intelligence, and menace of TDK. Rises looks to be a good mixture of both tone and look of BEGINS and TDK. Love it !!!

  • TDK is the better technically made film, it's a full notch above BEGINS. But they are two entirely different stories, the same way TDK Rises will be an entirely different tone and story from TDK. That's how you brilliantly keep each movie in a trilogy fresh and exciting. BEGINS is the epitome of comic book origin story, TDK is a mesmerizing and haunting epic about a city facing a crime drama, and how Batman and the freaks (Joker, Crane, Dent) have had impact on Gotham. Apples and Oranges

  • I rewatched this movie again and Zimmer's score made me sit through the entirety of the ending credits of a movie I've seen a dozen times. A modern master.
