  • I have the full Go Ask Alice movie on my channel. Hopefully you tube won't take it down.

  • that book was so good i read it 3 times and i think i may read it again and the movie was good to but the book is always better because it doesnt leave anything out

  • Turned out it was from a woman that made the complete story up.. it wasn't a true story because when you think about it, every autopsy can advise as to what drug a person has overdosed on even back then in the 1970's. It was made up from a woman who was LDS... she eventually came out and stated so.... story not true.. look at the diary and see the movie.. so unrealistic it's ridiculous..

  • i enjoyed the story orverall. However the diary entries were very vauge and did'nt go into much details. it brang us into the dark hole of drug abuse by showing us in the perspective of a teenage girl by pooring her emotional life into a diary. the book taught a lesson about the horrors of drug abuse and how it affects us teens, regardless, if it was fictional or not

  • Yeah, it's extremley well-written, but Eragon was well-written too and by a teen lol. Honestly, I don't know if we'll ever really know. It very well could be fiction, because it's hard for even me to grasp and I've heard many horrible stories from people who are close to me, but it also could be non fiction. Will we ever really, truly know? Nah. For me, I'm paranoid, so I always assume that people are lying and stuff (lol) so... I just keep believing it's true. Matter of opinion, imo, haha.

  • Yeah, good point. Anyway, officially, it's been declared as a fictitious diary by the Library of Congress. However, your point is valid and it might as well be a cover up to a true story. No one knows for sure. One thing though, the way the book was written was quite embellished and it doesn't really seem like a diary of a 15 year old. Just the subtleties lead people to that conclusion, and to top it off, the official statement declaring it's fake. However, your point isn't moot.

  • I know that Beatreace has said she wrote it, but honestly, could the parents have stopped her? They wanted to remain anonymous, so there's not much they could have done. And, really, I think the reason why people believed her so easily was because it was easier to grasp the book as fiction, so they can keep ignoring what's really happening.

I can see where you're coming from. With all the stuff today a lot of things can be proven right or wrong. Alas, I can't bring myself to believe society.

  • I see. the publisher I have is Simon Pulse, which is 2006. Meaning that the interviews and such have been regarded in those times. My publisher is newer than yours, hence' the reason why I have an additional paragraph stating officially that it's fake.
