  • ....and when you say "trash" you mean "it confuses me badly people act different from what's normal for me".

I know it's terrible but people a couple of hundred years ago had different ideas of what's normal _and not all of those ideas were bad_. Or to make it easier: "Different from what you're used to" is not necessarily bad. Considering that most people on this world are different from you it might be worth getting used to.

  • did they call fanny "spirited"? fanny is quiet and demure. i haven't seen this movie so i cannot fairly judge but their enterpretation of fanny seems very different than austen's. but perhaps i should see the movie before i judge.

  • @luvnote4u yes, you're right... I wish they'd stayed truer to the book.

  • @Abhi01pyaar Have you since read the book?

  • @andreacancer4 Miriam Stockley - Kissing In The Rain, also the theme song of the latest Great Expectations :)

  • I love this movie and mostly this trailer and the song great trailer!!!!

  • After watching it, I could doubt if the producers have really read the book entirely. Not the action, to pieces. But i did not, cause it was produced by Miramax. And they always find it to difficult to stick to the book.

  • omg its anne frank!!! lol

  • @luvnote4u : I think you would probably prefer the version I have on DVD - with Billie Biper. She is a very lively girl in it. It looks a totally different interpretation. As I haven`t seen this one and like this trailer, I am looking forward to buy it.

  • @luvnote4u

I echo your sentiment and on a different note Austen's Fanny has "light soft eyes" vs. the "sparkling dark eyes" of a Mary. My mind's Fanny has light eyes because that's the way she's been described.

  • She looks like ellen paige a little bit!

  • what song plays at 1:39
