  • awesome performance keep it up, when are you playing in christchurch next.

  • No Problem, dont take what I said to heart, as someone to needs take our Maori culture into concept where others can enjoy it too. Keep doing what you doing, it is great.

    Mauri Ora!

  • Kia Ora Wiremu.

Firsly I apologise for MY ignorance. I did misread the translation.

As you say, this is contemporary, and we were only trying to share.

All the best for your future projects, share the love.

    Ka Kite.

  • What, was that your tupuna performing this? I wasnt even talking about your tupuna, obviiosuly you cant understand what I wrote in Maori. It means, "This is belittling my ansetors" wasnt talking about you tupuna.

Ok I took another look at the video with a different hat on and see this is contempory art. So if it was apporved by the elders I guess its ok then. So I take back my ignorrence from the previous comment. Sorry for the personal attack.

    P.s love the bag pipes

  • Tena Koe Wiremu (I come to you with respect).

Why so negative? A LOT of research and time went into this performance. I did all my research with my whanau, and two very prominent Maori figures in this country. Do not speak of my tupuna in such a way. I take this comment personally. We have performed in many places around the world, and you are the only one to show so much distaste. A bit of support to better it would have sat better, sadly you didn't choose that path. Ka Kite.

  • Plastic Maori. Te whakaiti o te mana o oku tupuna!
