DAKOTA'S ROADHOUSE WILTED ONION - JACKSON, OHIO

Mom's "bewildered onion" at Dakota's Restaurant in Jackson, Ohio. Mom always looked forward to her Bloomin' Onion starter at Dakota's. Recently, the restaurant downgraded significantly - to a small plate of suspiciously fast-food-like "onion petals" which are reminiscent of Whilte Castle's 89¢ onion chips, except with a $5.99 price tag. The scant serving of over-cooked nibbles tasted like they came straight out of a deep frier from a freezer bag. Did they restaurant owner/manger think no one down here would notice?
