@ TheDisneygirl2010....I use the Pixela software that came for AVCHD editing with my Canon Vixia HF100 camera. It is not very sophisticated but it does not lose any quality with simple cut editing, (no transitions). Good for output to AVCHD Blu-ray discs. For YouTube, before I upload it I convert it to WMV-HD 5.9 Mbps data rate. This speeds up the upload since AVCHD has a data rate about 3 times that. YouTube is going to convert it to a lower Flash data rate lower than 5.9 Mbps anyway....
