you know what else is rediculous to believe? That if the Mormon church was/is not true Joseph Smith Jr and Hyrum Smith would give their lives as they did. Also that the church is one of the fastest growing in the world. The Book of Mormon is not racist, it is just how it is, it welcomes all people everywhere to come as equals. the question of polygammy has already been answered and it define west. since you surely cannot mean America.

@hanniebannanie531 your book, which is racist towards blacks also says polygamy is ok so wtf do you believe? do you not believe what it tells you? the book of Mormon states that there was a lost tribe of isreal that went to america... and that the first people ever created were from the western us... clearly false.. and it also states that black people were created as a curse by god.

Mormons were polygamists along with a lot of other people in the eighteen-hundreds.

and when they made a law against it, MOST Mormons stopped being polygamists

the few that didn't want to stop, broke off the church and formed a different type of religion

that stayed with polygamy you should get your facts straight before you comment, K? by the way, im so tiered of people telling me what I believe, im just like ok thanks for letting me know

Where are the tablets the bible was written on??? Abraham was a polygamist so the Bible spoke out at times about polygamy and at other times it was practiced as God instructed through prophets. When used appropriately, through prophetic instruction according to God's will, polygamy has not and never will be used as a sexual deviant practice. Mormons don't practice polygamy today, just like all Christians don't practice "abrahamic" polygamy from the Bible.
