Armour is protective covering used to prevent damage from being inflicted to an individual or a vehicle through use of direct contact weapons or projectiles, usually during combat. Armour has been used to protect soldiers, war animals such as war horses (the application for the latter called barding), and war machines such as warships and armoured fighting vehicles

  • @quangluu96 No. leather came before and then came brass. I live in Brazil.

  • Too bad the viewer never gets a good look at that helmet at the end, instead the camera just repeatedly cuts to a black & white view of the speaker holding the helmet with his hand and arm obscuring it.

  • what about Ned Kelly?

  • @quangluu96 first armor was actually animal hide

  • first amor is a plate of steel

  • NZ Army didn't issue helmets to us in the Logistics Corps,we got DPM Pattern Sunhats and Straight caps for Officers.

  • I've always noticed that. The germans had way superior helmets. I don't get why the rest of us couldn't fucking get the picture. "Lets just place a frying pan on our head. That'll work real nice. I need to be able to see with the eyes on the back of my head."

  • @DontBeAfraidToCare

    google "Dragonscale"

    or youtube it.

  • im in the military and got one of those helmets

  • well yes but the us goverment has been in debt so it was more efficent to get other people to help because no one wants more flags and coffins
