Too bad the viewer never gets a good look at that helmet at the end, instead the camera just repeatedly cuts to a black & white view of the speaker holding the helmet with his hand and arm obscuring it.

NZ Army didn't issue helmets to us in the Logistics Corps,we got DPM Pattern Sunhats and Straight caps for Officers.

I've always noticed that. The germans had way superior helmets. I don't get why the rest of us couldn't fucking get the picture. "Lets just place a frying pan on our head. That'll work real nice. I need to be able to see with the eyes on the back of my head."

well yes but the us goverment has been in debt so it was more efficent to get other people to help because no one wants more flags and coffins
