This follows on the last video, completing the tying of the orchid to a stake and planting it firmly in a closed vase partially filled at the bottom with glass beads and moss which has been moistened. I soaked the orchid in water for a few minutes to water the roots thoroughly with some Miracle Gro fertiliser in the water. Then emptied the vase and placed the staked orchid in it and enclosed it off in a clear plastic bad almost air tight. The orchid is now in a well lit window. Will review in a few weeks and track progress.
Also see where I learned of this method in a video by a viewer Angerlofjustica " How to save orchids with no roots" in my favourites list.
Enjoy!

Thanks, I am also doing it for the first time so will be keeping a close eye on it. Have to consult with others who have done it and succeeded. I keep my Cilantro fresh for three weeks in the fridge by bagging it in an air tight bad with a couple of puffs of air in it. Seems to work, so hoping this works on the same principle. There is no problem with Oxygen and CO2 as the plant keeps using both alternately. Will be keeping a close eye! thanks again for your comment.

I think the bag needs a hole in it for a bit of the moisture to escape , otherwise it seems like both the air will get stale and the plant may bake. I have no experience however.

Sooneaty, I hope it works for you, good luck! I will make a video soon showing me changing my orchid to the presoaked bark and me fertilizing them. I think it made a flower spike between the leaves!!!!!
