American taxpayers finance nearly one-fourth of the budget for the Paris-based Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, an international bureaucracy that routinely advocates for more government - including more taxes and spending in the United States. In just the past couple of years, the OECD has used American tax dollars to advocate Obamacare-type health policies, push for failed Keynesian stimulus spending, promote Al Gore-style carbon taxes, and urge the enactment a value-added tax. Are you saying that it's ok to waste $100 million because it's cheap compared with what's spent on the military? By the way, the organization that created this video favors a substantial reduction in the excessive military spending overseas. Lastly, I agree (obviously) that profit and economic growth aren't all that there is to life. This video doesn't imply that they are though. Profit and economic growth are simply products of a free society.

Give it a rest. The big waste has come from the GOP - Iraq, the world's biggest military (by far), tax giveaways to the wealthy and corporations.

Just look at the big run-up in US debt. Most of it came during Reagan, Bush I and Bush II.

Belgium 1.50 In proportion to populations, the US actually contributes noticeably less than Japan, Germany and France. Still the OECD sometimes bothers my country France as well.

American citizens are as well off with the OECD as they are without it, so if you don't mind spending that money on the OECD, I'd like you to give me that money. I wouldn't mind it. As you say, it's cheap anyway. :P

I did not know of the existence of this organization. Certainly should NOT exist. Who are the people behind it's formation and who holds them accountable? I am appalled. I was in Paris in 2002/3 and I fear the department of the treasury crooks are moneylaundering my estate in this nwo treasonous vehicle as well.
