Thunderbirds is a British mid-1960s television show devised by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and made by AP Films using a form of marionette puppetry dubbed "Supermarionation". The series followed the adventures of International Rescue, an organization created to help those in grave danger using technically advanced equipment and machinery.

  • @PumpkinDave It's like the The Uninvited, Scott was crossing the desert, right after he came from Tokyo. Why would he have to cross the desert to get home? I guess he wants to be like Supertramp "You take the long way home" and while he's wasting his time trying to get home, there could be an emergency call.

  • If you look in the background at 2:23 you can see the Duchess from the Duchess Assignment, and sitting right to her, a puppet that looks kinda like Jeff Tracy :D

  • ♥ .

  • Penelope doesn't need to sing, her gorgeousness swamps all.

  • @PumpkinDave TB2's top speed is "the speed of plot".

  • When I lissining that Penelopes singing first picture off my mind was Tina Turner... Maybe becose Penelopes voise sounds like Tinas

  • @PumpkinDave (Yeah, I know T2 is fast, but damn, it's still the other side of the planet! And it's not like they didn't know the girls were in danger.)

  • "Virgil, you'd better get out there right away"

Erm, Jeff, considering he's flying from the middle of the Pacific all the way to the Alps, you probably should have sent him BEFORE Lady Penelope pulled a stunt like that right in front of the villain. Let's just hope the song lasts 4-5 hours, right?

  • god i love this episode- love the jazz :P
