Servomechanism DMG-16 One of the most important tasks of any electromechanic is motion - limbs of a robot, wheels for a platform and mechanical elements for other devices. For this purpose we need drive components, preferably accurately positioned. One of the most widely spread device is servomechanism. It's quite easy to manage and has rather good power characteristics. One of examples of excellent servomechanisms can be a servomechanism DMG-16. Its distinguishing feature is that gearbox gears are made of metal. It prevents blocking of a driven mechanism and increases life span of gears. Moreover, as a set, several exchangeable rockers are included. They allow using this drive component in conditions of limited space, for example, where cross rocker can't get in. And, of course, it worth to be mentioned that this construction weighs no more than 20 gr., that without doubts makes it possible to put the servomechanisms even on a model aeroplane. As a control module we use Freeduino 2009 with a simple programme, making a servomechanism turn 180 0 and return to the previous position.
