I never really cared for listening to Chevelle when I was younger. Never had I really delved into them, didn't even really know their name. My favorite band of all time is Tool, and randomly one day I started listening to Chevelle. Very quickly I found that many, and I really mean, many of my favorite radio songs by some band I never bothered to look up, wounded up being Chevelle. Chevelle is now definitely up there with TOol on my list of best bands. Think my fav song on this album is Envy

this song is really beautiful. my favorite part is at 2:23 when he says "Fate has tortured us for too long" his voice is amazing. But really i like the whole song.

In all seriousness,I am a huge Chevelle fan. That being said, I was a little hesitant when it came to this album. I just didn't feel the same as I did when listening to their previous work. That was also before I bought the album and started to really listen to it. This is now my favorite album by Chevelle and this song is one of my favorites. People need to stop comparing them to Tool, because they are two very unique and amazing bands. Chevelle is not Tool, and vice versa. Enjoy the music.

I disagree that they are "hit and miss" type band. I think that a few of there songs are extremely amazing and it drowns out some of the other songs on the album, but the fact is after a few months I find myself wanting to listen to the other songs more than the mega hits.
