I just don't think that this could have been more beautiful. Callas and Price are unmatched in this opera. Two distinct voices with such passion and devotion. This rendition brought tears to my eyes. Brava Ms. Price and thank you thevuitt0ndon for uploading!

@Duncan456 - LOL! I will agree, although, I don't even know who Callas is..LOL! I am just agreeing because my voice teacher said I sound too much like Leontyne..so I had to look her up. One of the other voice teachers at my school interrupted my lesson and he had her listen to me and she said I not only sounded like her but looked like her in her younger yrs..LOL!
I now see myself as a little Leontyne and will defend her from all naysayers..LOL!!!

Yes Leontyne Price ranks very highly and is unfairly overlooked as Maria Callas's own performance of the role overshadows all others. Nevertheless Miss Price is wonderful, controlled, expressive and full bodied.

love it, love it, love it. To my mind, everyone else SINGS Tosca. Leontyne Price IS Tosca - a beautiful, proud, peerless artist.
