@xScarletWind Even in writing, Chinese is also harder. Each word has its own symbol whereas Japanese at least has hiragana as a sort of alphabet system for beginners.

@xScarletWind Japanese is by far easier than learning Cantonese or Mandarin. It's all about the tones; of which Japanese can't compare. Also, I said It's the most complex language I've seen, not what you've seen.

Saw the movie last night. Greek tragedies have nothing on this. Also, I'm tri lingual and I'm now learning mandarin. I will say it's most likely the most complex language I've seen yet.

i myself have been inspired to not only learn Mandarin (finished first month of class),but to visit China soon.Have been reading news on China & watched english cctv channel for last 3 1/2 years.
