  • Maybe so, but I haven't gotten drunk watching him in a bar 25+ times so I have no interest.

  • Guitarists know how great this is!...so do real rock/blues fans....Please don't compare/demean this legend by debating his talents as regarding the Mr. Roger's - Mighty Wind - Folkie from the USA who writes, sings, and plays his own very pretty little songs.

  • I hate the he gets lumped in with all these "party, rockin' good-time" bands. He is a brilliant guitarist who is highly underrated for his ability.

  • Just so Good !

  • Boy this brings back memories. I forgot what a smokin' player he is live. I don't know why everyone gets so worked up about him and another player having the same name. Who cares.

  • I'm sure that BOTH David Wilcox's respect each other.

  • The man is GREAT!! But so is his American namesake! The two are completely different styles. It's like comparing apples and oranges! Some days I like a wonderful apple, and other days I prefer a delicious orange! Is it so bad to like both! I'll bet the artists themselves would appreciate each other.

  • Actually I don't mind the "lame American folkie" of the same name, but THIS David Wilcox is probably my favourite guitarist in the world.

  • Never heard of him. Must have never made it to the Lower 48 ... and compared to the 'lame American folkie of the same name,' this guy plays guitar like a high school beginner.

  • I had the privilege of seeing Dave play at a club in Saint John in 1987. He poured out his heart and soul for almost 5 solid hours. The BEST performance I have ever seen.

  • yeah - right up there ....he who seen knows

  • Really nice.
