Lego Honolulu Store Opening

August 14-16, 2009
The building of five life-sized surfboards at Ala Moana Mall in Honolulu to celebrate the first Lego store opening in Hawaii. Members of the AFOL group in Hawaii, LEAHI, are featured in the video as volunteers for the event. The master builder working very hard building and entertaining the crowd at every step is the fabulous Dan Steininger. The amazing Lego employees who used their muscle to lift the last piece of the final surfboard in place were Pono and Waylen. Be sure and say hi to them when you stop in the store located near Long's at Ala Moana.
