LES Model of a flat plate boundary layer, generated using custom LES code (Dynamic sub-grid scale model, fractional-step time-advancement). Inflow generated using a modified version of the Lund Wu and Squires quasi-periodic inflow formulation (Jewkes, Chung and Carpenter (2011) AIAA J. 49 (1)). Reynolds number (based on momentum thickness at inlet) approx 1500. Post-processed using Paraview. Please contact the author at j.jewkes@curtin.edu.au for more details.
