An explanation of the origin of black gangs in Southcentral, LA. Although it's not explained here, racism has a long history of dividing poor people in the United States. In the colonies, the first slaves ("indentured servants") were white; the historian Barbara J. Fields writes about this. As white slaves became too expensive and disruptive, American slave owners began purchasing African slaves. Racism entered the Western consciousness (during the mid 1700's) as a way to reconcile the enslavement of poor blacks with the freedom of poor whites. This division continues to characterize U.S. politics. This clip comes from a certain well known cable broadcasting station. Every once in a while ratings will drive even the corporate media to tell the truth, especially if it there's hip hop, bloodshed, and dead black kids involved.
when i was locked up in HMP Pentonville, I heard in the yard a black guy say to another "it aint about black and white it's about rich and poor!" NUFF SAID.

Paradoxically, this reversal will also affirm it. This has played out throughout history. English people came from Celts, Romans, Saxons, and Normans over time. Overtime, there will be a solid "American" ethnicity.

@GTBeauregard
I wasn't talking about the near trend I was talking about a longer term of time. When interracial marriage reaches a certain threshhold racial homogeneity will become untenable and the trend of homogenization will begin to reverse.

@MiracleMile90: I could go on, but I REALLY shouldn't have to at this point. Now, again, tell me: how does forcing uniethnicity on a society benefit those people in that society(and no, you can't use Japan to try to prove your point, either, that country's restrictions are largely based on the fact that that country is rather overcrowded from top to bottom)?

@GTBeauregard: " What are the benefits of multiculturalism? How does it help?"
If you want an obvious example, look at the United States. This entire country's culture, was practically built on it: Immigrants of all sorts contributed various pieces of their cultures that made their way into the mainstream: The Italians gave us pizza, The Swedes the smorgasbord, The Mexicans had various things, etc. (and don't forget the African-Americans with jazz, blues, soul food, etc.)

@GTBeauregard: "You consider India a successful country - you must have no problem with caste systems or organ selling; or rank poverty."
India does have a few problems to sort out, yes. But again, in that country's case it hardly has anything to do with multiculturalism.

@GTBeauregard: "Interesting, how long has Italy been a nation?" As a political entity? 150 years as of now.
But as a recognizable culture? Perhaps as long as 2,700 years, going back to right around the time of Rome. Things do change, however.

@GTBeauregard: " Swarmed by black Africans." Swarmed, huh? I have to laugh at the fact that you used that word...........but then again, it's no surprise you'd used such a casually dehumanizing word.......

@GTBeauregard: Now you're assuming that I think that rampant violence is normal because of multiculturalism? Really?

@MiracleMile90 That's called a homogenous country - getting the picture now? You're used to this multicultural nightmare - you think rampant violence is normal.
