At first, I thought it was a few second one, but after a little bit I whipped out my camera and filmed most of it. I should have run around a bit more. And yes, they are praying in the background. What better way to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ? I think it was 7.2 (Or 6.9?) magnitude. Which was really nothing at all. Yes, they were praying the St. Michael's prayer.

This footage is very real. So try disproving it all you want... you obviously weren't there.

It was funny, we were talking about it afterward, and one lady thought it was because there were a bunch of tall people running. XD XD XD

Matthew 27:
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying: Eli, Eli, lamma sabacthani? that is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? 47 And some that stood there and heard, said: This man calleth Elias. 48 And immediately one of them running took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar; and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink. 49 And the others said: Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to deliver him. 50 And Jesus again crying with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And behold the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top even to the bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks were rent. 52 And the graves were opened: and many bodies of the saints that had slept arose, 53 And coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, came into the holy city, and appeared to many. 54 Now the centurion and they that were with him watching Jesus, having seen the earthquake, and the things that were done, were sore afraid, saying: Indeed this was the Son of God.

Matthew 28:
1 And in the end of the sabbath, when it began to dawn towards the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalen and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre. 2 And behold there was a great earthquake. For an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and coming, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. 3 And his countenance was as lightning, and his raiment as snow. 4 And for fear of him, the guards were struck with terror, and became as dead men. 5 And the angel answering, said to the women: Fear not you; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.

6 He is not here, for he is risen, as he said. Come, and see the place where the Lord was laid. 7 And going quickly, tell ye his disciples that he is risen: and behold he will go before you into Galilee; there you shall see him. Lo, I have foretold it to you. 8 And they went out quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy, running to tell his disciples. 9 And behold Jesus met them, saying: All hail. But they came up and took hold of his feet, and adored him. 10 Then Jesus said to them: Fear not. Go, tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, there they shall see me.

  • if God created the tectonic plates isn't it kind of going against his purposes to pray for the quake to stop?

  • are they praying?

  • did anyone see that big kid under that little ass chair lol

  • They betta go to church...let the church say A MEN!!!!!!!! LOL

  • Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

    Yeah, Christianity makes perfect sense!

  • Next time when you make a fake earthquake video, don't forget to make the lampshade shake. Just saying. FAIL!!

  • @SuperBersuit no man i lived it i was from mexicali Baja CAlifornia

  • hahaha praying...hilarious

  • Hm, I believe in God, Jesus and all that jazz, but I don't go to church or pray that often. In any case I think in this kind of situation, prayer at least helps people to focus on something and keeps them away from panic, which is one of the worst things to do during an earthquake. So even if the person prays or repeats some kind of mantra (like "everything is going to be ok" over and over), it really helps to focus and stay calm.... at least it works for me :-)

  • Why the St. Michael's prayer?
