4 Alarm Building Fire 1 West Main St Frostburg, Maryland FCII Helmet Cam

Engine Tanker 22 dispatched on the 4th Alarm Commercial Building Fire at 1 West Main St in Frostburg, Maryland Allegany County. Potomac Fire Company ET 22 with 7 volunteers. Dash Camera Video Footage of the response in the ET22, FC II Helmet Camera Footage on the scene with A/C E. Derham, and on scene camera footage. Gianni's Pizza Shop in the first floor of a 3 story building. Fire was reported just after midnight and crews worked on the scene until the morning hours. A mayday call for one firefighter was called for early on in the incident. Two other firefighters were transported by ambulance for heat exhaustion.

LOL..I was just about to make a comment.......sirens in the dead of night and no traffic?..DAMN...YIKES...damne­d deer do NOT yield. We have the same problem here..lol..damned bambi & turkeys......Good video by the way....

That is one of the reasons why to use the siren at night. We did not have all of the sirens blowing at that time. The hope is that the Q scares the animals into running away or running across the road early, before we get there. We also have the state laws here, that say you have the lights on, the sirens have to be on to be considered an emergency vehicle.

I was telling my partner about this video lastnight was we were moving from one station to another.......then.....BAM....­..out of nowhere, 3 Bambi`s ran out in front of us. I damn near hit 2 of them. It wasn`t a priority run, just driving down the road in the newest truck we have..........lol......Doug said, "maybe you sholda had the siren on"....smartass...

@MIoldtimer im not a firefighter but mew and my brother were getting ready to go across a bridge and 40lb turkey hit my side of the windshield i all tried to dodge it like it woulda helped, good thing toyota makes good windshields..hope i can get on at my Volunteer dpt. im 19 and need some excitement i've already saved 3 lives in my life.

Frostburg is North from our station not South... I get it you were using those great MapQuest directions that everyone else is using to make up the box cards. See I told you that you would get lost following those directions...
