Being from chicago, a sister city of Birmingham. You guys have alot of the same reputations that we have here in america: as a second city, industrial and dirty, crime ridden, less educated and underappreciated. I greatly respect you brummies, you're not half bad.

Birmingham is a great city, the people who criticise it have generally never even been there.

so is the 11 percent 11 percent of the 20? Thats not much then. Like 2%. Unless it meant 11 of the total.

@g67kj I agree.

Wonderful video and wonderful city. Of course it's a second city, clearly nothing in Great Britain is like London numerically speaking; but i guess Birmingham is the right mix for a great city to live in !

Birmingham is my first choice for university, looks great. hope i get in :)

Birmingham is the 2nd city of the UK & of England. Looking at it, it is reaching near to London's look, the hotels, the lights at night, the skycrapers and shopping malls. I think Birmingham is one of the top cities in the UK. The city has no evidence of industrialisation, no smoke, no broken windows.

It's a shame how Birmingham doesn't get enough attention, places like Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow gets more attention, Birmingham should have more attention!

I didn't go through every single ethnicity of the city because it would simply take too long! As an example of how multicultural Birmingham is I concentrated on the second biggest minority group..I could have gone through everyone but it probably would have added another half an hour to the film. I did want to make a big point about how multicultural Birmingham is though, and I wrote it into the voiceover a lot so I hope that got through to people.
