10:20pm: So, now Jack's car battery is completely dead and we have no jumper cables.

10:36pm: We walk over to the convenience store, borrow jumper cables, and charge Jack's car for 30 minutes.

11:00pm: Our priceless jumper cables drive away.

11:30pm: We drive to Walmart in the broken BMW.

11:40pm: We roam all over Walmart looking for jumper cables and we can't find any anywhere.

MIDNIGHT: The only jumper cables we can find are in this fancy/cool travel kit that we both decide we love and had to buy one. They were $32 each.

12:20am: Sam gets hungry because he skipped dinner so he grabs a Walmart sandwich.

12:45am: We get back to Jack's car and

1:00am: We record this video (both parts 2 of 3 and part 3 of 3).

The video should cover everything else.

EPILOGUE: So here's the part 4: Although the last hose install lasted all day Thursday, it barely did. Coolant was still leaking slowly out of the connection because the plastic part of the connection is irreparably broken. My friend Bob basically enlightened me that the radiator cap was probably not venting pressure which caused the radiator connection to break. Unfortunately, the only way to repair the broken hose connection is TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE RADIATOR! Seeing as this is a 1995 BMW and I'm in a small town in New Mexico, I thought for sure my wallet would be about $1000 lighter after that repair bill but by some stroke of absolutely amazing good luck, I found an auto repair joint that is replacing my entire radiator system for a measly $220! And it'll be done on Monday! Another happy ending to another day's woes. Thank you Carlsbad New Mexico.

  • @countrykirstijo It always brings me joy when I can turn a frown upside down. Thank you, countrykirstijo. I just have no idea who you could possibly be, countrykirstijo,.. but I'm happy my woes left you... LAUGHING. ;) Actually, I am happy about that.

    MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

  • Sammy, you are the best story teller E.V.E.R.. You somehow make even the most frustrating events (maybe to everyone else) seem effing hilarious. That oober sucks that all that happened and i hope your and jack's cars are alive but i was cracking up throughout that entire video. Yes, indeed i was laughing at your woes. I was not sympathetic in the slightest. But that is ALL YOUR FAULT awesome story teller!!

Thanks for sharing and making me realize how lucky i am that my car loves me.
