I think they are constelations, and galaxy zoomed inon. But the fact is why try top make sense out of something that cant be explained? Why make something beautiful out to be a threat? Maybe they are UFO's? maybe not, but either way, just let them be, expose them, they will be tested on, dont expose them and leave a belief to be a belief.
