@destroyrobots I know im replying to an old comment, but doesnt shedding also kinda change depending on the genes of the doodle? Like some dont shed much, but others can shed just as much as any other dog?

we might get a goldendoodle because our other dog died so my mom wants a goldendoodle because they don't shed because my other dog shed like crazy so does Brady shed?!

Hi. Goldendoodles, like poodles have hair instead of fur. They shed about as much as people shed their hairs. So while they don't shed like other dogs, they do shed a tiny bit. It's also worth pointing out that while they're not big shedders, they do require a bit of grooming (clippings, brushings) because their hair will keep growing otherwise.

My goldendoodle though isnt like that when he walks fur just falls off like a golden retrevier is it cause of bad breeding or just has more traits of the golden retriver?

@pookaoka - We live in the city and there are numerous doodles in the neighborhood. There doesn't seem to be a very consistent breeding standard, as most of the doods I've seen have had varied coats.
