Protect yourself from the Dajjal and his servants!
There are at least two people on youtube who are claiming to be "messenger" of Allah SWT (authu billah!), and although it seems easy to identify them and their mistakes, when the Dajjal arrives, he will have the power of miracles and deception so strong that he will even deceive the very elect.
The advent of these little liars is a great reminder to all of us that we should make every effort to protect ourselves from straying from the Path of Allah SWT. The best way we can do that is to forever enrich our religious knowledge and practice.
Muhammed SAS advised the believers to recite the opening of Surat Al-Kahf (I have one source which says this is the first 10 verses) over the Dajjal (or anyone making such claims).
Although I made this video for my own benefit, to learn the first 10 verses of Surat Al-Kahf, I decided it would be prudent to share in case anybody else wants to use it as a memorization tool. Please take advantage of the English 2nd half to incorporate an understanding of the verses if you do use it for memorization.
May Allah SWT keep us all on the straight path and protect us from the trials of this life. (Ameen)
"O our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Thyself, and provide for us, out of our condition, with consciousness of what is right!"
Surat Al Kahf, Verse 10

Transliteration of Surat Al-Kahf Verses 1-10
Bismillahir-Rahman-ir-Raheem

Ith awa alfityatu ila alkahfi faqaloo rabbana atina min ladunka rahmatan wahayyi lana min amrina rashadan
And lastly, a prayer from Malik's Muwatta, Book 15, Number 15.8.33:
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'zZubayr al-Makki from Tawus al-Yamani from Abdullah ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to teach this dua in the same way that he would teach them a sura of the Qur'an, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the torment of Jahannam, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the (grave) Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of life and death."
Allahumma inniy audhu bika min adhabi jahannama, wa audhu bika min adhabi'l-qabri, wa audhu bika min fitnati'l-mahya wa mamati.
I don't like that is takes 20 seconds to start, so annoying when you are trying o memorize

Yes, I wish Youtube was faster. Have you ever tried quranexplorer (.) com? It is a wonderful site for memorization. I use that one with allahsquran (.) com and write out the Arabic with the English together... I find it's so helpful to write it down. When I have it written I go back to quranexplorer, you can set it to repeat as many times as you want... Carry your paper with you anywhere and hear the recitation repeat over and over in the background!
