UC Solar Team WSC 2011 Race Day 1

The University of Calgary Solar Team takes it to the road on Race Day #1.

Due to the 35 C weather and high humidity we decided to switch out a driver early. We did the switch at Adelaide River.

We pushed the car really hard due to the large hills in the area (some up to 6% grade) and the smokey conditions.

In the end we were short of our target of Dunmarra.

Fact: Terry has been an observer in every single WSC since it first began in 1987!
