Cannon Thrashes the Van

To celebrate the New Year we fired our Mountain Howitzer at midnight and then shot up an old, already trashed van on New Year's Day. This video does include canister shot (which basically turns the cannon into a gigantic shotgun with a 3 inch bore), but the footage of that shot isn't great, unfortunately.

@TheSkirmishes Yikes, that sounds dangerous. Pipe cannons can very easily become pipe bombs. You want seamless steel tubing instead.

@bluerazors Here is my reply over a year later lol. I suck at monitoring comments. I drew the specifications for the barrel and we had a local machinist machine it. Since then, my dad and I got a metal lathe, so the next cannon we build we will both design and machine the barrel. And we do have a 5 foot long, 5 inch bore piece of steel tube to use for a much larger cannon, but it will have to wait until I miraculously find some time away from law school.
