So in this video, I'll be talking a bit about how I got my internship in Tokyo, Japan, and my general advice for people looking to get an internship in Japan.

It's not exactly easy, and Japan doesn't have a big history and culture of doing internships, so it's going to take some work. The best bet is to look for international companies, especially from your own country, that might have offices or departments in Japan, or wherever you want to go.

Don't really expect to get paid a whole not, if at all, and expect to be working a lot.

  • Having more than just the ability to speak Japanese is a must. For example, Zeplin speaks English, Danish, Japanese, and a few other languages I'm sure. Also, he does graphic design very well.

  • @D3R1CKZ my Japanese is by no means fluent, very very far from it. However, the main reason I get past that hurdle, is because it's a Danish owned company, so I'll be dealing with people who understand English or Danish on a regular basis.

And yep, while I don't speak much anymore, I understand German, Swedish and Norwegian too (though the last 2 are common for Scandinavians, due to simularities).

  • what brand of cigarettes are those?

  • this was AMAZING information! I had a really hard time finding information about it, but this video covered everything i needed to know. Thanks alot!

  • Nice vid Zep. If you have a song, why not come to stillbliss while you’re here. :) enjoy your stay.

  • @heyjeySigma DemonDZ is correct. I get a comment about my smoking, on at least one of my videos, once a week. On newly released videos it's not uncommon that I get 3 comments in the first week, just commenting on that I should quit smoking, or that smoking is bad for me. You don't see a lot of the comments, because I started deleting most of them a long time ago. Simply, it just gets old.

  • @heyjeySigma I think you have to realise that smokers get this all the time. I'm overweight and a smoker, yet I get more comments about smoking than my weight, even though the statistics all points towards me dying because of some weight related disease way before cigarettes get me.

  • @TokyoZeplin the guy was just genuinely worried about your health that's all, yet your responses were a bit on the cold side.. then again we all know quitting smoking isnt as easy as it may sound.

  • @Sivels But really, isn't it a moot thing to ask? Everyone smokes because: A, they like it, and B, they're addicted to it. And do you honestly think that you can come up with any statistic, fact, or knew research about smoking that I honestly haven't heard before, in the 10 years that I've been smoking?

  • @TokyoZeplin I'm curious, I support your right to smoke whatever you wanna smoke, just pointing out it's bad for you.
