We tried the Mountain Coaster at Cranmore Mt - It's really great and you can totally control your speed. It was cloudy so we couldn't see the Mt Washington today but otherwise the view is fantastic. This attraction is good for any age. You can buy 1 ride only, or 3 rides or a combo 3 rides and 2-hour tubing, right next to it. And this is open year round :)

@SonicLOVA55 What kind of trouble did you get into?I have ridden the apline slides in a few other states and slowed down enough near the end.

We took our whole family and a friend, six of us together, and all went on the coaster for $50. It was a BLAST!! Well worth it. It is a good ride, long enough to feel like we got our money's worth, but twice as long would have been twice as fun! Even our seven year old daughter loved flying down the mountain at full speed. Summertime fun... this is TOTALLY worth checking out.

I used to go full throttle on this all the way, but I got in deep trouble. Get rid of that rule, please?
