Wohlfahrt Foundation Studies for Viola
Use full down bows for slurred sixteenth notes. Separate eighth notes to be played marcato at the point. These notes should sound short but should be played with a quick bow stroke of about 6-8 inches. The bow will stop momentarily after each marcato stroke. Slurred eight notes to be played with full up bow to return to the frog.
