WTF indigenous hip hop is taking over??? stop putting up fucking divides, Like it or not "Indigenous hip hop" is aussie hip hop, it's a geographical loop hole you can't escape.

@StrayDevils hip hop don't belong in a box - it's as diverse as the shades of skin on the planet. tbh ocker accents really annoy me much like english accents rapping - but each to their own.

After just recently moving to Darwin I am dissapointed to see the the only crew that is making a name, has such an american influence. Production on the song is good but the lyrics and accent has such an un-australian feel to it. This is not oz hip hop and you guys need to get more in tune with the culture of aussie hip hop. not bad but definetlly not worth writing home about.

Feedback is much appreciated. We've been doing this 4 N.T Hip Hop 4 over a decade. We grew up during the golden era of Hip Hop & that will be our inspiration forever. When I was a kid we didn't have Aussie Hip Hop to look up to, it wasn't on radio or in the shops but we were lucky enough to have Pac, Tribe, N.W.A, Cube, Nas etc on tapes and on Rage. We don't rap in an American accent, we just don't rap in an exaggerated Aussie ocker accent. We rap like we speak and no matter what we are Hip Hop!

@TheStrayDevils Tell me what the fuck it is to be a respected australian artist??plenty of big name aussie artists make a living off using american accents, Everybody knows they wouldnt sell, wouldnt have made it big if they sung in ozzie okre accents..even all big time aussie actors dont use aussie accents yet they still get respected & claimed as this countriy's own & if they can use it for singing & acting,why cant we use it for hiphop?? Dont just single us out!Freedom Of Expression!!
