Tetsu is like Entwistle or JJ burnel - essentialy LEAD bassists. as opposed to backing rhythmically (like John Paul Jones) or Funk (like Flea).
that being said, if you can play guitar, it's not too hard to play L'arc on bass. when i used to only play finger-style bass i was like "YO - WTF???" then i learned guitar and now can play L'arc bass A LOT easier. tetsu still has awesome counter points to hyde's voice tho... that is essentially what makes L'arc, L'arc... so make sure you FEEL the song!
