  • The air for the air bladder is pumped from the ambient sealed air inside the glider; i.e. around the control board. The glider maintains a vacuum when sealed, and there is a visible increase in that vacuum as the air bladder inflates. To deflate, the solenoid is simply tripped, allowing the vacuum to suck the air out of the air bladder and back into the glider.

  • Where is the air for the air bladder pumped FROM?

    - from the ambient sealed air inside the glider? (eg: around the control board)

    - from a compressed air tank?

    - a tank of Hydrogen peroxide?

    - from outside the glider once it's reached the surface?
