I spent one week in Switzerland to take training in special flight situations. Sometimes it was really hard. During full stall I twisted two times around and lost chance to control the glider. There was nothing to do just wait what happens. There is nothing worse than see your glider under yours feet. :)

  • @vojtas1 Bee in the cockpit, fire in the cabin. sure it isnt too uncommon

  • @bajesus666 Technically speaking you are right, but I can not imagine such situation you get full stall during normal flight.

  • ufa!!!!!

  • @nolifemerc Thats wrong, 80km/h is enough to kill a person at the moment of impact.

  • with an emergenchy like this you wont reach a speed more than 90kmh thats 55mph so anyway when u hit water without a reserve you probably gonna survive anyhow.

  • When youre near the water its time to forget about getting rid of twists and start thinking about undoing the harness and stuff. Once you hit the water you may get stuck in lines and canopy. Also you are wearing clothes and boots which are not exactly bouyancy aids. So you will have plenty of things to think about. Also best to get the straps undone while you can see what you are doing rather than several feet underwater.
