Outrun 2: Arcade beta test version running on my Sega Universal driving cab, powered by Chihiro hardware, the beta has a different intro & more interestingly you can continue when the timer runs out aswell as loads more views available including "birds eye view" as you can see not all the music made it into this test version, enjoy !

Such a shame...

It would have given Out Run 2 a Daytona USA feel! It would've been great!

In fact most cameras shown here would have been nice to use.

But eh, it still is an incredible game.

That is fantastic. Such a shame that this didn't win the real outrun 2. I mean, I think its better with the camera angles, continue function, all cars being on 1 page instead of 2.

I love outrun

I like the front side view, or the straight front. Select a Ferrari model with retractable head lights, and as you go into the forest or the highlands, you can see how the lights flip up, and then as you leave that area, flip down.

And all these views in the game, after you select a continue, I wonder what they used all them for (debugging?). I think there are at least 23 types of views total. Some very similar to each other. The bird view is the last view in the selection, I think number 23 or 24.

oh man 'Birds eye view' looks fantastic!

Wish they wouldn't have removed this from the final game, would have added some cool replay value.
