"Faendal" means something weird in Norwegian as well. "Faen" is used the same way as "fuck", although it is actually an old name for the devil, and "dal" means "valley". So his name means "Fuckvalley".

no, the thieves guild questline isn't over... if you do the side jobs for delvin and vex, eventually after doing a certain number of jobs, you'll start getting quests that let you gain influence in the major holds...
