As a diver and first responder, I have pulled numerous bodies out of the water. People that do not heed dire warnings put themselves and more importantly others at risk of loss of life. There is no excuse for this.

I actually know one of the guys in this video. There were no warnings of "certain death," and there were no 20-25' walls of water in Surfside. The surge simply came in much quicker than anticipated. They thought there would be more time to get out. The media added those comments to try and make it sound more dramatic.
