1 year after the famed chopper builder, Jesse James, failed to complete the famously tight and technical hare scrambles race in Laughlin, NV, team 374 of Landon Stiffler and Colby Gulledge claimed 1st Open Amateur. After competing in the event for 5 years running, we have been able to accomplish 1st 3 times with 1 overall of the Amateur class. With the sponsorship of Big Belly Crew, Lost Energy Drink, No Fear, Amsoil, and 661, we had a back and forth battle with team 366 ultimately beating them by just over 1 minute on adjusted time. With a failing clutch and a blown rear moose tube on the last lap, we were able to do what we set out to do and claim the victory.
Look for future videos coming from Glen Helen's 6, 12 and 24 endurance races and of course next year's Laughlin.
