@DontQuestionPirates You are so right. When we begin to respect them and think about the world from their point of view then we might actually learn something and become more evolved as a race. They are so sensitive but so many shut down because of behaviour like this or go the other way and become dangerous.

@TheAndreana2012 i agree, where i ride we squeeze instead of kicking and it works just as well. I always think we wouldn't like to be kicked in the ribs so neither would a horse :)

I wonder how long till your horses sides are dead from all that kicking. Did you notice he walked when you stopped kicking. He is not tacking advantage and for all those experts on the floor giving you advice it was taking your attention away from the horse who did not have a clue what you were asking. Please put the ground work in before getting on and just kicking a horse; it is this type of thing that leas to 'problem' horses that sometimes end up being put down because they get dangerous.

Love this! use to ride a horse that did this haha. But at some point you just need to take your hand and smack him, because he's just taking advantage of you.
