...who cares what some prissy "Top-of-the-Pops" announcer thinks, or even worse; the critics.
I thought "Memoirs of an Officer and Gentleman" was excellent, as well as "Canario" ; Emerson also did a slick solo on "The Gambler"-all from Love Beach.
Frankly-I don't think their clothes on the album cover are relevant; unless you also judge garb like Emerson's "Armadillo" suit similarly...
May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible and unutterable name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored, and glorified in Heaven, on Earth, and under the Earth by all the creatures of God and by the Sacred Heart of Lord Jesus Christ in the most holy sacrament of the altar.
In the words of Edward Woodward as he is about to be burnt to death in a giant whicker man " Oh Christ, Oh Jesus Christ" What the fuck were they doing, I ask you. When money meets music be fucked.
Their worst will always be better then your best.
