And yes, I know he doesn't drink, and yes, I've been drinking, but artists that reach your soul without any booze... and Tom Waits definitely can drunken my swollen bruised heart without the whiskey in front of me... are the ones that may not ever be Lady Gaga, but I 'd hate people to Gaga Tom Waits... First time I ever heard TW, was when I found my dads tape collection. Of everything I found Small Change probably made the biggest impact on my musical taste. Always a good listen.

@KosherBeefHocks Sounds like your Dad has passed on. Sorry about that. But he obviously had good taste in cutting edge music! Small Change is also one of my favorites. A real reflection of life on the street. Thanks for sharing!

My dad used to rock me to sleep listening to this. One of my fondest memories as a kid.
The last line of his obituary is "The piano has been drinking . . . not me."
