2010 Mazda MAZDA3. The big, smiley face grin on the all-new Mazda3 practically screams "I'm good and I know it." Telegraphing dramatic design cues from the Nagara show car, the Mazda3 Sedan (don't worry, hatchback fans, the five-door will follow) again sets new standards in the compact car arena. Like the original, the 2010 Mazda3 places an emphasis on style, features, affordability and, presumably, fun. The standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine remains unchanged on i models, but the s trims receive a new 2.5-liter engine churning out 167 horsepower channeled through a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. A completely redesigned interior features a more driver-oriented cockpit, improved front and rear seating and offers cool features like driver-side seat memory, remote-sensing entry and start and navigation. Other premium-like features include rain-sensing wipers, adaptive xenon headlamps and heated leather seats, three-position memory function for the driver's seat and push-button start. Just watch out for corrotion on mazda and fords. These companies tend to be cheep on proper paint jobs and undercarriage anti corrosion treatment.

I was looking at a Mazda 3 2005 the other day. Took my camera with me to look at some of the problem areas of Mazda 3 and indeed Mazda 6 ... Rust around weel arches and the undercarriage. The 2005 model was plagued by rust on the undercarriage. The dealership said that was not a problem, all cars have rust on the undercarriage.

On this car the rust was starting to flake on the undercarriage... a 2005 model! It was also treated for rust on all(!) weel arches.

@italiankilla58 I envy you. I was about to purchase a mazda 3. I put down a deposit and then changed my mind at the last minute and went for the Ford Focus 2012. Big mistake. I so regret it.
