The people of Iceland had no clue that this might happen so how does it makes us bad human beings for spending money we THOUGHT was safe and ours ? This was unpredictable for the Icelandic people and had nothing to do with greed on behalf of the population of Iceland. If you're gonna hate someone hate yourself or the people who really are to blame.

@benchod94 It will be soon. There is an agreement due to be signed between the two countries in the next month or two, I think. It states that an Icelandic citizen can travel to and stay in Canada without a visa for up to one year and vice versa. :)

The winters in NY, NJ, PA and so forth are MUCH colder than the winters in Iceland..
I'm Icelandic and live in North Anerica..
Icelands winters are a joke compared to the ones here...
I think I'll start coming up north (back home) 6 months out of the year to escape the cold lol..
