Poor bacon lived a year and died while I was away on my honeymoon. He had a type of inherited mange he recieved from his mother. The seller curently sells to our local mall and is well know throughout Northern Indiana. He would not refund me. He just offered me a dog that i had no interest in. Apparently I hear all his dog have problems. So why can't he be stoppeed from breeding them?

  • OMG I cried so hard!!! I have a pug, Otis that is only 4 months old but he has problems with his stomach and the vet doesn't think he has very long to live. :{ I needs a hug!! :'(

  • is sad to see a pug that die i hate that shit

  • FUCK PUPPY MILLS!

  • I think Amish puppy breeders are pieces of shit, I think they should all be shot!

  • I'm so sorry for your loss :(

    R.I.P. little bacon

People who breed just to make money and dont care at all about their animals really make me sick...not to mention angry. I hope this guy gets shut down. If hes leaving sick puppies in a field to die...thats illegal in Indiana I do believe. Someone should report the scumbag.

  • It's just the brutal reality of the situation. The amish are smart, they know we are greedy and if they offer us something at a fair price we will take it, and the fact that puppy mills are still operating is the sick proof of that.

  • On average to raise a healthy litter it costs over $3000, just to raise the litter this does NOT include health testing on both breeding parents to be SURE that they are good enough to breed, feeding them a high quality diet to make sure they remain healthy. Costs of raising the actual litter on the ground to make sure that people are getting a long lived pet, is phenomonal, good breeders don't even break even. That is even charging $500 + for a puppy. Again I dont mean to sound harsh...

  • It is now common knowledge that when you purchase a puppy from a petshop then your supporting puppy mills! I think that ALOT of the problem is that people don't care where they get there dog from, they just want what they want. There is alot of greed in it. You look at the pricetag and think that if you have to pay over 500 bucks for a puppy it's highway robbery, but if you actually knew WHAT kind of time and money that GOOD breeder put into there dogs and puppies, you wouldnt think this!

  • If people would spend the time to find a reputable breeder then situations like this wouldnot happen. I am sorry you lost him, but I can only feel so bad for someone who didnt do there homework!

  • I have nothing but sypmatphy for you and your family for your loss BUT! Had you purchased your dog from a reputable breeder, and been more contientious about where he came from then you would not be in this situation. The only way that people like him are going to get shut down is if people STOP trying to satisfy there quick whim of wanting a cheap dog.
