@art9schw He has been interviewed several times in mainstream Canadian and British television. The main broadcast in Canada is CBC, Chomsky has been on there a few times, being given 20-30 minutes of discussion time.
He's also been on the British mainstream BBC for 20-30 mins of discussion time. The British media is phenomenal compared to American media.
Since Bill Moyers is gone, the only worthwhile mainstream media in America is MSNBC, but even they have limits (ie: can't criticize israel)

@Sweden80Here Why? lol

Regarding the comment by Chomsky that "Humans have developed the capability to destroy itself". I believe that is only true for the Anglo-Saxon race, who is genetically irrational when it comes to acquiring power. The rest of the world and other Europeans, we are rational and intelligent.

He WAS on Charlie Rose

They say they won't put Noam on TV because the arguments he presents can't be boiled down to the conciseness needed for today's news programs, and he agrees with that. But there are a few programs like this one, Charlie Rose for example, that have a suitable format for him to present ideas. I'm still holding out that it's possible for that to happen.

Now, Chomsky, do I turn to thee, and mark my greeting well; for what I speak my body shall make good upon this earth, or my divine soul answer it in heaven. Thou art a traitor and a miscreant, too good to be so and too bad to live, since the more fair and crystal is the sky, the uglier seem the clouds that in it fly. Once more, the more to aggravate the note, with a foul traitor's name stuff I thy throat; and wish, ere I move, what my tongue speaks my right drawn sword may prove.
noam chomsky is one of the most important humans on the planet!

This guy is absolutely brilliant. Well-said and spoken. To run down the crimes and atrocities of US Presidents from Eisenhower to Bush 43 is astonishing. Reagan conservatives like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter and Newt Gingrich would go ballistic to hear about Reagan's crimes. No wonder why mainstream media would never quote Chomsky or invite him on their shows.
